The road to peace is through the
education of children.
The Lebanese Center for Special Education is a nongovernmental
non-profit organization, independent of
all political and religious ties.
CLES was established in
1999 by the initiative of Carmen Chahine, a Lebanese/
Belgian residing in Belgium.
The mission of CLES is to help, free of charge, all the
children who are learning disabled, “The Forgotten
Children of Lebanon”. These children risk developing a
spiral failure by having a negative image of themselves and
undergoing progressive marginalization if they do not
receive professional individualized help early enough
Promoting the right of education to all.
Prevention of social exclusion, marginalization
and delinquency by promoting the integration of
children suffering from learning difficulties.
Offer free professional assistance to needy
children with learning disabilities and difficulties.
Ensure better education, better mental health. |
